Welcome to the Hanham Family website.
10/24/11 (Suzanna)
We have been helping friends move in recent weeks. Since this dining room set was being sent to another area of town, we used a rickshaw trolley instead of a big truck.
It is always a joy to visit this sweet family!
You should hear us sing-along in Swahili! This family led music at international church recently, and we sang old favorites like “On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand” and “How Great Thou Art” in both Swahili and English.
We went shopping in the neighborhood yesterday for onions, eggs, apples, and pineapple.
Eggs are not refrigerated here until we get them home and wash them in bleach water. In fact, we wash all fresh fruits and vegetables in a bleach solution.
Paratha (pronounced parota) is a very popular thin bread sold fresh on our streets.
This man ironed all day long at a guest house where we stayed recently. That heavy iron is filled with hot coals.
We enjoyed a recent visit to a Baptist Hospital compound in India. While we were there, Richard had some medical tests. Unfortunately, a biopsy reported that he has prostate cancer! Please pray with us as we get advice from medical professionals regarding what steps to take now.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
